Our local bowling alley is doing an 8 weeks for 8 dollars per week. They play for an hour, get a lesson and have fun!

Zevia

I love this soda. We discovered it last spring. It's made with Truvia, comes in all sorts of flavors like cream soda, orange, grape, strawberry and it's calorie free.

My Sick Buddies

I took a sick day today which is a rarity. I felt so bad yesterday and was no better this morning so I thought I would be better off home. Lucy and Oreo made for great buddies. They smother me if I get upset that I'm sick and they willingly sleep all day with me in bed.

I have a really bad cold. Last night L and Jeff picked up Chinese and fixed me a plate. They are so helpful.

Grocery Night

This post is a few days late. I thought I'd share some of what I got this week.



Included-pizza sauce for French bread pizzas, chicken for lo mein (along with carrots, ginger and mushrooms), cubed beef steaks for chicken fried steak, applesauce for the girl and lots of yummy Vitamin water.

Swimming First

We had friends over Sunday evening to swim and have supper. While we were all in the pool, a squirrel FELL INTO THE POOL! The dogs went crazy (so did I). Jeff scooped him out with the lead catcher and the squirrel ran away unscathed.

We got to check out L's new school. It's very nice. She got the teacher she wanted. Mrs. Buehn's room is awesome. It's a camping theme. Here's L's desk.

Kam's Birthday Party

Kam turns 5 next week and we hosted his party. He had a few kid friends over and they had a great time swimming.

Ava's Birthday

L went to her friend,Ava's birthday party on Saturday. She swam for a couple hours and got to hang out with a few of her Girl Scout friends. It was a nice night out.

She Got Them Pierced!

Second time around (they closed the for the first time this spring). I made her brush her teeth every day for 3 weeks (which she did) to earn them. Our friend Trish pierced them and she was very brave.

Goofy Pets

 I finally figured out how Lucy gets bug bites.  She sleeps in the weeds.  Ugh.

Reggie is patiently waiting for me to get upstairs to feed her. 

Swim party

 We hosted the AVID teachers pool party.  We had a good gathering and everyone had fun.  L made new friends. 

She learned how to take the raft down the slide. 

What a Day

Today was a busy day. I spent half of it at Linda's finishing up scrapbooking (total number of pages:89 and one mini book).

Then I came home and cleaned the entire house from top to bottom. We are having company tomorrow and the house needed a good cleanse. I fixed supper, put away all my scrapbooking stuff. And now I am doing this-

Scrapping At Linda's:Day 2

Today was very productive. I have scrapbooked 66 pages so far (52 today). Lily spent a good chunk of the day "helping" us.


In the evening, she was naughty and tried to check out the snacks.
