L got to dress up at school today as a storybook character. This is important to her because her old principal wouldn't let them dress up. So while she will be a cheerleader tonight, she's Alice today. And a cute one (I might add).

Saturday Fun

We had a busy day. Lucy and Oreo got their yearly shots. L got blood taken;she was a real trooper.


Her reward? A trip to Justice. When we got home, Jeff found a family of baby mice.


And we went to the Wenzel's Halloween party. The Moore's were so cute.

Cross Country

Today we watched the 6A Regionals cross country meet. It was a beautiful (although a tad warm) day. The girls ran a 4K and the boys a 5K. I remember in HS that seemed so long. The boys placed 2nd and one girl placed to go to State next week.

Yesterday we went to Walter's Pumpkin Patch. It's about 45 minutes away. It was a beautiful day and the patch was lots of fun.

Puppy Chow Cookies

Tonight I made cookies for PTA. Puppy chow cookies are delicious. After following the recipe I now know I can make PB cookies, coat them in chocolate/PB mix and powder sugar them.
