Quiet Monday

After a long day at work, I decided to bake.



Sloppy Joe casserole. It was delish!


Double chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies for the teachers tomorrow (it's terrific Tuesday).


And while I was baking, L was working hard typing up a note for student council.

3rd Grade

This year is an important one in church. L got her personal bible this morning and gets to start bible study.

What a glorious morning. The start of the race was a blissful 60 degrees. I caught up with my friend, Cathy, at the start. We ran together and we ran the whole way. I definitely think we pushed each other. My time 37:15. Three hours later....I still have my runners high!

Yep. This 3rd grader is secretary of student council.

I Have a Problem

Too many books, too little time. I need to take a sabbatical so I can get caught up.

Big Helper

L got to be a huge helper today. I needed to go to the hospital and round in the evening. She was so excited to go with me. She got to see some of the babies. One of the nurses gave her a micro premie diaper and she was beaming! She was a wonderful help to me.

Wednesday Silliness

Pop Tab Project

The girls decorated flower pots to put all of their pop tabs in for their service project.

I drive 15 minutes to Mickey's Frozen Yogurt when there's froYo less than 5 minutes away because it is THAT GOOD. Today was awesome. Caramel pretzel, red velvet FroYo and chocolate covered pretzels with a waffle cone stick. I may or may not have eaten more WW pts with this snack than I ate for dinner. 😜
