This is what happens when you are bored at the airport.


On a happy note, I saw a HS classmate and a good friend (both random) during my layover.

Jeff and I bought a recumbent bike a month ago. I love it! When I need to do cross training, I can bike for 10 miles while catching up on shows.

The Real Thing

L got to be an acolyte for the first time this morning. She was so excited and did a great job. This is at the beginning of the service.


At the end of the service, they relight their candles and take the Holy Spirit into the world.


Afterwards we went to Pumpkinfest in the church parking lot. There were games and a bouncy house.

Running in Fall Weather

My favorite season to run in is fall. I love cooler temps. It makes me feel faster. Yesterday I had 7 miles on my schedule. It was beautiful!! I ran a big loop in less than 90 minutes (I forgot to shut off my Garmin). My compression socks make running easier.

Fun Filled Day

L and I went to a South today to hang with his AVID Group. We had a great time!

Then L had a neurology appt. She is getting better but needs a little medicine tweeking.

I lost 3.2 pounds this week. I'm down a total of 9.3 pounds in 9 weeks!

She Appears Again

Whether I'm waiting for L to finish her shower or go to bed, Reggie comes to find me and shove herself in my face. Because all that purring isn't noticeable. 😋

Halloween parade

The Girl Scouts went on a parade to see the fireman and sang them a song. I think they were tickled to see the kids.

Claire's has fancy clip earrings which is great for the girl who doesn't have her ears pierced.

Fun at the Haunted Stroll

The girls headed out to the country to participate in the haunted stroll. It's a Girl Scout event. They got their faces painted and painted pumpkins with melted crayons.











To top it off, the day was gorgeous.

We watched the boys basketball team get their rings, host a dunk contest and scrimmage. Fun night!

Today we headed to Walter's pumpkin patch. The weather was gorgeous! The kids played and played and played.

Tonight L and I went to City Arts. She worked on her art badge.
