Last Day of School!!!

Today, L has a half day of school and then she’s DONE! 7th grade was better than 6th, but I’m hopeful next year will be better than this year. 

The Friday before the end of school, I was able to get done seeing patients in the morning so I was able to bring L lunch.  She was so excited!!! 

I got to visit with a couple of her friends while we had lunch. It was fun!!

Metal Monday: OKC 1/2 recap

April 29, 2018 OKC 1/2 Marathon. It was the first time the whole tribe has gotten together in awhile. Pre race photos! 

My goal was to PR the course. My best time had been 2:46 

The course was good. And tough. I ran by myself. I clicked along good until mile 10, then I started to get tired. But my jam song came on and I was good to go for the last three miles! 

And I did it!!! My official time was 2:39:55!! Beat my PR by 6.5 minutes! 

I was so happy with my splits! 

Reward: Fuzzy’s Taco shop. So yummy! (And they have one inWichita too!!)

Happy Mother’s Day to my mom and Grandma! Mom-thank you for listening to my long winded stories and complaints and always being there for me. I am so grateful for you!!!

Caturday! All About Scully!

For some reason, Scully got in lots of photos. She was busy being a dork this week. L was sick with the flu and home from school all week so the girls did an EXCELLENT job of taking care of her. They love to lay on her, follow her around to make sure she’s ok...

Scully (and AJ) think the wreath is a perfect sleeping place. 

“Mama!! My mama is home! I must sit on her clothes so she doesn’t leave me again!”


L had lots of homework so I picked it up from school yesterday. Scully is happy to help!! 

Caturday Edition: 3/17/18-A Whole New World

This week has been warm so I opened the front door and pulled the screen up. This is the first time Scully has experienced it. Although she gets to look out the back, this was a whole new world! She was so excited!! 

And in case you were wondering, she still has her twist tie! I had no idea where it was but suddenly it appeared!

The girls continue to come downstairs all the time. The pups are not thrilled but being polite.

L and Scully are working on homework. She is so chill with Lauryn.

Caturday 3/3/18-what’s new!

So there’s a lot of new going on in our house! Too many photos for one post so I’ll break it down. 

Scully has been coming downstairs for a few months. AJ has finally broken down her walls and started exploring when the dogs are in the house! 

Here she sits in the evening. Everyone is ok-she’s happy, Oreo isn’t miffed...

...until she comes up in his face. Then he starts shivering!   This has been going on for a couple weeks and now everyone does pretty well. 

Lucy doesn’t seem to mind any of it. Oreo got tired of AJ walking in front of him multiple times so last night he gave her a gentle bite on the tail. Pissed AJ off, but then they were fine lol!
