This weekend was so much fun! Friday night, my parents, Jeff's cousins and the three of us all went to Las Palmas. It's by far my favorite mexican restaurant. We had a great time socializing and having fun.
Saturday, we took a field trip to Belleville and Cuba, Kansas. It's special enough it will get it's own post. We saw my dad's aunt, Marcella, went to his old stomping grounds and saw the house he grew up in. Lots of fun! We finished the night watching Rick Springfield and Night Ranger in concert.
Sunday, I got up super early to take my parents to the airport (like 4:50 AM!). I came home, ran my mile, took a shower and fell asleep until 9! Then we had breakfast at Jimmie's Diner with my uncle John. After he left, I cleaned the house, did the laundry, taught Lauryn to do her laundry (FTW!!) and then we tackled Costco and Target. I think I left a few things there for the rest of you! I'm a big proponent of the vinegar wash for my fruits so I washed them all, dried them and packaged them. Same with a huge bag of carrots. We had a fantastic supper of beef and turkey kabobs, veggies and garlic parm bread.
