Today has been a great day. I started off by waking up a little too early, but after a good homemade cup of Starbucks coffee, I was pumped. L had Avery over for a playdate. The girls had a lot of fun, made a HUGE mess and it took forever for them to clean it up. But L didn't cry at all and didn't throw a fit this morning, and I think that's a huge accomplishment for her.
After a quick sandwich for lunch, we headed to Koch Arena for the Shockers game. They played Cleveland State in the ESPN Brackbusters game. Cleveland St. wasn't happy about playing us...we weren't worthy. Interestingly enough, we BEAT them by 11. WSU played really well. I think it's great that they keep getting better.
I found some cool items from Etsy today. Watching 90210 and blogging. Then we're off to Knolla's Pizza for supper and the Loving's for game night.
These kind of days I love.

Lost on Grey's
This is a couple days late...so I watched Grey's on Thurs (Tivo of course). I have to say, I am lost. Who thought it would make a great storyline for a patient's husband to call Derek a monster and then McDreamy gets into a fist fight with Mc Steamy? I thought it was the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
Grey's writers...you really suck. I am about thru with your dumb old show.

Valentine's Day
Here is L opening her Valentine's gift. She received Reese's candy and Madagascar 2 movie. She was very happy. She liked the singing princess card the best.
See the cute kitty box in the picture. I loved the box so much that I was very careful not to rip it so I can store it on a shelf.

A Busy Weekend
Here's a quick recap of my weekend: fixed supper on Friday night (great new lasagna recipe) and visited with Kasey, Kurt and Kam. Agreed to watch Kam all day Sat. while his mom and dad went to KC. L and Kam had a great time (as you can see). They played in the ball pit most of the time and we went outside for a little while (it was cold).
Then we dropped Kam off at his grandma's and headed to Koch Arena to watch the Shockers whip Northern Iowa's butt (which is a change...usually they beat us at home). We ate dinner at Rowdy Beaver's...one of our new favorite places. They have the best brownie dessert ever.
Today we drove to Burlington to celebrate my mother-in -law's birthday. Had a nice lunch and visited for awhile. L slept on the way home and Jeff and I talked about work and L's preschool for next year.
Had cereal for dinner...haven't done that in years!
I'll post some Valentine's day flowers and celebration soon...

Valentine's Day Prep
Sorry I've been a bad blogger. Between Facebook, Twitter and life, I have put the blog to the side. Tonight after an eventful night of Target and Hallmark shopping, we had a quick dinner and then worked on L's valentine's for preschool. I found some cute cards at the scrapbook store. L signed her name and then we put mini cupcakes with them. We had fun putting it all together.

Live from Cropaganza
So it is Saturday night, 11:48 pm and Jill, Linda and I are still scrapping. I have completed 78 pages so far. I am very happy with that fact. I think it's because I was here earlier on Friday and no massage today (although I would have sacrificed a few pages to get one...my back hurts!). I feel like I've made a dent in the thousands of pictures I have.
So we'll probably stay up for awhile, then I'll read some 'Twilight' before bed (I love Edward). We get to scrap until 4 pm tomorrow, then I head home to spend some time with the fam.
It's been a great weekend so far. I'm sure there's more to come!

I love our library
L and I love going to the library. We have so much fun. They have a wonderful kids section. I find 10 to 15 books each time for us to read at bedtime. And I haven't made a dent! I love looking through the adult books. I can always find something (now I just need to find the time to read them). They have a cute statue outside of the library. When we left last Sunday, L asked me if I would take her picture with the kids. She's such a scrapbook model.
