Weekly Chase #16!
roadrunnergirl.com/p/the-weekly-chase.html" title="Road Runner Girl">
Christmas is over! My week of vacation is over :(. Oh well, three days of work, then four days off. The following week is going to be brutal!
Recap of last week:
1. Get 10,000 steps in a day. Yes!! Actually, I walked 3-4 miles every day. I was proud of myself. 21 days done.
2. Stretch daily: not really and still I didn't stretch well on the days I did. I used my foam roller a few days.
3. Plan Christmas dinner. Yes! It was wonderful. I didn't get overwhelmed once.
4. Write my 2015 word of the year post. Yes!! I'm excited to show it Thursday.
5. Enjoy my time off. Yes I did. I got some 1:1 time with L and I finished two books.
This week's goals:
1. Continue my 10,000 steps per day streak.
2. Stretch daily. Spend at least 5 minutes a day stretching.
3. Unplug from social media (mainly FB)-it's an addiction for me.
4. Spend 5 minutes a day meditating.
5. Start my grateful journal.
6. Clean up my diet. I have enjoyed too many treats this week.

Finished My Book Goal!!
One of my goals in 2014 was to read 52 books this year. And I did it!!! 53 books read. Some took awhile, some flew by. Here are my top 5 favorites.
1. Things I've Learned From Dying. I loved this book. Such a tenderhearted book. I was sobbing at the end.
2. 10% Happier. Dan Harris writes a great book about meditation and mindful thinking. It has been on my mind since I read it last month, which is good as it will help push my in the right direction.
3. How to Have Your Cake and Skinny Jeans Too. This book is all about intuitive eating, something I have tried to implement and will work more on in the future.
4. Don't Go. Heart wrenching. And a quick read. Both qualities I love in a book.
5. Wonder. A good story with an uplifting ending.
My 2015 goal is to read 52 books and (try) to write a report on them.

Christmas 2014
What a fun time we had! Lots of gifts, lots of oohs and ahhs.
L (well all of us) got lots of loot in our stockings.
L got a new backpack from Santa.
And a new laptop from mom and dad!
Christmas lunch. A full meal of ham, tators, green bean casserole and desserts
New electronics for L.
And Jeff's "little" Lego set.
Hmmm...a new sign for the yard.
L stole Jeff's beats.
The buds are hanging out.
Playing Uno. Lots of trash talking going on.
And one pooped doggie.

Weekly Chase #15!
Oh my gosh. Christmas is nearing!! Last week was a crazy week with making gifts, finishing homework, getting caught up at work. Fun times!!
Recap Week 14:
1. Get 10,000 steps in a day. Yes!! I am so proud I have done this. Anywhere from 10,500 to 15,000 steps a day. Some days it's a challenge.
2. Stretch: kind of. I stretched every day, but my effort was lame some days. And I can feel my muscles getting more stiff.
3. Get the guest room/bathroom done. Yes!! My parents arrived yesterday and everything looked great!
4. Find the calm: Yes. I even baked yesterday since I had the whole house cleaned.
This Week's Goals:
1. Continue my 10,000 steps per day streak. I've done 14 days so far.
2. Stretch. Like really stretch. And foam roll.
3. Plan how Christmas dinner is going to be put together.
4. Work on my 2015 word and the post explaining it.
5. Enjoy my time off this week.

Here's a recap of last week's chase:

4. Find a cookie recipe: I found a few to make this week.

Weekly Chase #13!
Well, last week was crazy (wait...I think that's every week). I didn't sleep enough, didn't exercise enough, so I felt kind of cruddy. I spent Sunday revamping my outlook and worked on my 2015 word and goals.
Let's recap last week:
1. Exercise 5-6 days: Nope. I worked out three days. Even skipped my long run.
2. Stretch daily: 6 days. Not bad.
3. Finish a book: no, but I did make good progress. It's a really good non fiction book, but so much information I can't slide through it like fiction.
4. Work on my Christmas list: Yes!! I bought several gifts and have my plan about what to get everyone.
5. Tackle my to do list: sort of. I got quite a bit done but left some for this week.
This week's goals:
1. 10,000 steps per day. I chose this as my goal and I am hoping to streak. I love seeing other people run streak, but I mix things up so much (bike, Shocker fitness, run). But when I exercise, I can easily get to 10,000 steps per day.
2. Stretch daily
3. Finish my book. I am 100 pages from being done and I need to read this book and one more for my 52 books in the year goal.
4. Find a cookie recipe: I'm going to bake some treats for Christmas.
5. Finish my Christmas shopping
